Are you counting calories?

It's snack time....Look in the fridge...take a bite...walk over to the pantry....take a bite.... Next thing you know your standing in the middle of the kitchen mindlessly demolishing that bag of chips, while staring in your pantry thinking...hmmmmmm what to eat? Before you know it you have completely bypassed your allotted calories for the day.

Does that sound familiar???

That used to be me, until I started preparing my food in advance!
Once a week (Sundays for me) I pre-package all my food into serving sizes for the week. When I'm running late for that appointment, or time passed by and I have to run out the door to pick up the kids from school, I don't have to think about what I'm going to eat. I open my fridge and grab a snack. I don't have to think "How many calories is this?" or try to figure out what a serving size is, it's already been done. I actually get to enjoy my food, without worrying about what it's going to do to my waistline.
Plus it looks inviting.....much better then those greasy bag of chips!
